Summary: Some things are worth waiting for…
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Review: It's been such a long time since a book has kept me up well into the morning just because I couldn't stop reading. Wait For You was on of those novels that no matter how tired I was I just couldn't put it down. From the first three chapters that I got from a sampler book, I knew this novel was going to be amazing. When I finished those three chapters I automatically clicked the link to buy Wait For You. That was around 10 o'clock at night, I didn't go to sleep until 3 in the morning when I had finished Wait For You.
J. Lynn creates these rounded, believable characters that I grew attached too instantly. The main character, and narrator of the story, Avery has a secret past that's not to hard to guess in the beginning chapters even though she never comes out to say it. As you read Avery's story you can help but root for her, feel for her, and want to her to have a happy ending. Her narration made me laugh and cry. You just can't help but love her while reading Wait For You.
The lead guy and supporting characters that J. Lynn created were also extremely likable. I couldn't help but love all of them especially Cam. From the second that Avery ran into him on her way to class, the humor and romance between these two was so much fun to read. Not only was Cam a great romantic lead because of the humor and romance, he also had his own past and back story that makes him believable.
Wait For You is a novel you'll become attached too. It also has a sequel coming out next year that I can't wait to get my hands on. J Lynn created characters that I can't wait to read more about. But before you go and buy this book, it is a New Adult novel, not a Young Adult novel so it doesn't cut things out as a YA novel would do. Since I've only reviewed YA novels here I wanted to make sure I put that in the review for any younger readers of my blog.
