Waiting On Wednesday

This is a weekly meme hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine < Check it out

Insurgent (Divergent, #2)
Yes, this has been my Waiting On Wednesday before, but with the release date so close, and the Hunger Games, another dysto novel coming out tomorrow, how could I resist posting this one again?

Divergent is still my favorite novel and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

(Goodreads Summary): One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth's much-anticipated second book of the dystopian Divergent series is another intoxicating thrill ride of a story, rich with hallmark twists, heartbreaks, romance, and powerful insights about human nature.

Who else is excited???

Oh and I'm sorry for being MIA. I was in the school play and I've been car shopping. Both take up WAY to much time. On a good note though, I just scheduled posts for all of this week and next week. I feel accomplished.

  1. I fell in love with Divergent last year, and now I've just been impatiently waiting for this one. I'm hoping that Insurgent is just as captivating as the first one! (also, the scenes with Tris and Four hahaha) Great post! :)

  2. Amazingly enough, I have yet to read Divergent, but I feel like the fans are very devoted, almost similar to Hunger Games or Harry Potter fans so that definitely tells me something about the quality of the books. Hopefully my TBR pile will thin out a bit and I can purchase these two!
