By Danielle Sibarium
Release Date: June 1st (Today!)
Goodreads/Amazon/BN

Summary: Jenna Kingsley has a gift. She knows things. With a simple touch she can pick up personal information from jewelry or objects. While at a neighbor’s party, a voice mesmerizes her. Jenna is momentarily frozen as a ring is placed in her hand. White electricity surges through her and a dire prediction is made. “It’s like Romeo and Juliet. You’re going to break my heart.”

From the moment they meet Jenna is enchanted and entranced with Reece Walton. She’s thrilled to learn he’s spending the summer two houses away from hers. Every moment they spend together is magical. But she can’t get the prediction out of her mind. As the summer draws to a close and secrets are revealed, can Jenna get past the fear of being left with a broken heart to live in the moment with Reece or will her fear of being hurt fulfill the prophecy?

Review: Heart Waves was such a great novel because it appeals to so many different readers. Whether you are a fan of romance, paranormal or contemporary novels you will find something for you in Heart Waves. Since I'm a huge fan of all of these genres, you can only imagine how much I adored this book. I've always been a fast reader but something just kicked in while I was reading Heart Waves and I couldn't stop. I had reached the last page and was dying for the sequel in just one day.

How can a fan of contemporary like a book with a paranormal twist? Well, the magic vibe was very hidden in the book. Yes in the first chapter Jenna makes a prediction about Reece and herself but the book doesn't revolve around Jenna's gift. Throughout the middle of the book it was Jenna dealing with life. Trying to realize if she should trust Reece, getting into a fight with her best friend, and everything a regular teenager goes through. At the end her gift comes up again and it sets itself up for a sequel, which you'll be itching for my the end. Yet, don't think this book isn't for you if you are not into paranormal. The contemporary feel that you know and love is there. Just as Danielle's first novel, For Always had.

The romance in Heart Waves was so cute. I loved Jenna and Reece, they were perfect together. I'm a huge sucker for a good romance in novels and this one had it. The characters were also very relatable. Jenna felt like every other teenager, I could relate to so many things that happened to her. That's something that doesn't happen very often in books with a paranormal twist.

Heart Waves is over-all a great novel that you will not want to pass up and if you haven't already you should pick up For Always while your at it. Danielle Sibarium's beautiful writing is something you don't want to miss.
